These restorations are made from e.Max, a state of the art material that is more durable and more beautiful than the old fashioned porcelain and metal crown made in a dental laboratory.

The digital technique is more accurate than the impression technique. Patients immediately notice that the fit is noticeably better than a crown made by a lab.
Dr. Dressel trained at E4D University, at D4D Technologies in Richardson Texas, and transitioned to Digital Dentistry in 2012.

Dr. Dressel has been creating dental restorations without the use of messy impressions, temporaries, or waiting for lab work to arrive. A crown, inlay, onlay or veneer can be completed in a just a few hours.

Our office has two mills, two crystallization ovens, two scanners, and two powerful laptops running the latest Romexis Software.

Millenium NdYAG Laser

Laser assisted new attachment procedure (the LANAP protocol) is a patented therapy designed for the treatment of periodontitis through regeneration rather than resection. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved the LANAP protocol and Lanap Surgery for the treatment of periodontitis, or gum disease, in 2004.

Quiet Dental Handpieces

Kavo is the leader in dental handpiece technology. Over the years I've heard so many patients say..."I really don't like the sound of the drill, can't they do something about that?" Here it is. An electric drill that operates much quieter and much more smoothly than the traditional air-turbine drill that makes you cringe when you hear it. It is a dramatic improvement.

Helios 3000 Patient Lights

These lights provide amazing visibility, yet they don't shine in your eyes. They are LED, so they remain cool as well. This is optimal for shade matching anterior restorations.

Sterilization

Image

This modern autoclave by SciCan is capable of completely sterilizing dental instruments in 8 minutes. All of my handpieces (drills) are sterilized by the SciCan Statim.

The Statim 2000 S-cycle cassette autoclave is the fastest benchtop sterilizer available. This will optimize clinical time management and improve efficiency... Everyone likes an efficient visit.

The office has 3 state of the art autoclaves. These autoclaves are regularly tested to ensure proper function.

The result is reduced discomfort and a reduced need for anesthetic. It is extremely easy to use and helps create very esthetic crowns and veneers.

Ergonomic Dental Chairs

these chairs massage the patient during treatment.

Digital X-Rays

Image
In 2007 my entire x-ray system was upgraded to the latest digital equipment and software. Each operatory has it's own computer and flat screen monitor.

Today, X-rays are no longer taken using large AC x-ray cones and film. Now we use low power, smaller DC units and digital x-ray sensors. Benefits include dramatically lower radiation requirements, and large clear images that we, along with our patient, can see very easily.

VELscope

The VELscope is an easy to use instrument that can see oral cancer lesions before they are visible to the naked eye. VELscope is the only non-invasive adjunctive device clinically proven to help discover occult oral disease.

Unfortunately, only 35% of oral cancer cases are diagnosed in the early stages. Fortunately, the VELscope System can help detect oral mucosal abnormalities that may not be visible or apparent to the naked eye, such as oral cancer or pre-malignant dysplasia.

Healthway Disinfection Filtration System

There are 5 Healthway Air Purifiers in the office. The Healthway Disinfection Filtration System revolutionizes the air cleaning and filtration process. DFS Technology is individually tested to guarantee better than HEPA efficiency, capturing 99.99% of all particles down to .007 micron in size.

This technology was selected to be a part of our ever adapting policy to deal with Covid-19 in a safe manner. Healthway products were chosen because they were developed through a United States Military Grant. Healthway products are assembled in Pulaski, New York.
